New Music Festival to Rock the Pier in Queenscliff

Queenscliff will welcome a new music festival, “By The Pier”, next month with support from the State Government’s $20 million Regional Events Fund.

Presented by the Queenscliff Music Festival, By The Pier will deliver an intimate festival experience for music lovers across a three-day program on the foreshore from 25-27 March.

The festival will feature a line-up of homegrown talent with food, wines and craft beers from the region available.

The State  Government funding will help deliver the new festival, including additional infrastructure to enable more music fans to enjoy the event in a COVIDSafe way.

In addition to the soaking up the live music, visitors can also enjoy the many cultural, historic and nature experiences across the region.

The $20 million Regional Events Fund is a critical component of the $633 million Visitor Recovery and Reform Plan and supports festivals, sports events, creative exhibitions and other cultural celebrations.

The Regional Events Fund drives economic benefits to Victoria by increasing visitor numbers and length of stay, thereby boosting spending in regional areas and growing jobs.

Since 2016, the Government’s Regional Events Fund has funded more than 250 events across the state, bringing thousands of visitors to regional Victoria.
