The Andrews Labor Government is delivering on its promise to give Drysdale the world-class sporting precinct it deserves.

Today, Member for Bellarine Lisa Neville announced the Labor Government is getting on with the job of building the Drysdale Sports Precinct, confirming $3.5 Million funding for the important project.

The Labor Government is committed to giving all Victorians access to safe, modern sport and recreation facilities. Labor promised Drysdale the best precinct, and that’s what the government is delivering.

The Drysdale Sports Precinct stage one works will deliver a flagship football and cricket oval, additional multi-use fields, lighting for longer training sessions and important club functions, and a relocatable pavilion. Cricket nets, car parking and fencing are also planned.

The Labor Government is listening to local sports clubs, who want the best facilities so that they can expand their operations and attract more members than ever before. The Labor Government’s investment means Drysdale’s Football, Cricket and Soccer clubs can reach for the skies.
