Lisa is Minister for Police and Emergency Services and Minister for Water in the Andrews Labor Government.
Since taking on the Police portfolio in 2016 Lisa has overseen the largest single investment in Victoria Police’s history, including recruiting 3,135 new frontline police. This investment formed the cornerstone to the Community Safety Statement, a comprehensive plan to keep Victorians safe.

Since merging the portfolios of Police and Emergency Services in 2018, Lisa has overseen the Fire Services Reform.
Lisa’s work in the Water portfolio focuses on implementing the priorities in Water for Victoria- the Andrews Labor Government’s plan for managing our water resources now and into the future. Along with initiatives through Water for Victoria Lisa is leading major upgrades to our irrigation networks in the Victoria’s North-West, North East and Gippsland.
